3 Brothers BESIDES Steve Harvey That Are Getting Paid For Love

With the release of the highly anticipated movie ‘Think Like A Man’  scheduled for Friday, April 20th, its safe to say that Steve Harvey has officially created a realtionship franchise. The film, based on Harvey’s best-selling book ‘Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man… ‘, has garnered quite a bit of  media attention and there are plenty of events and commentary to support its launch. And as if his first book wasn’t popular enough, Steve wrote a second book, ‘Straight Talk, No Chaser…’All this from a comedian with a voice and a dream.  But while Steve may be one of the front runners, he has a pack of hungry fellas yapping at his heels.

Paul Carrick Brunson (Twitter @PaulCBrunson)

One of my favorite fellas in the game I love Paul’s brand of delivery.  Often referred to as the real-life ‘Hitch’ Brunson offers honesty coupled with compassion, just my cup of tea. And apparently I’m not alone in my admiration.  Oprah recently tagged the love guru to be an expert on her new show Lovetown USA, where a team will take over Kingsland, GA for 30 days, helping eight singles embark on a journey to find true love in their own backyard.  As a renowned match-maker Paul is a sought after speaker and author.

Jack A. Daniels (Twitter @AllJackDaniels)

The Life Coach & Therapist is often referred to as the OTHER Jack Daniels, thankfully he is known for a far different reason.  As the author of several books  that have gained him national press, Daniels is known for his creative style of bringing clarity to seemingly complex situations.  His style is clearly showcased in his book The Man’s Handbook for Choosing the Right Woman draws a sports analogy to explain to men the process of choosing a wife.  And next month Jack will start his 7-city ‘I Need A Wife’ tour. The tour focuses on the male perspective of the challenges in finding quality women.  We are certainly looking forward to that one!!

 Anslem Samuel (Twitter @NakedWithSocks)

If you haven’t visited the wildly popular website ‘Naked With Socks’  then you are missing a world of fun.  The site is the brain child of veteran journalist Anslem Samuel who’s work has been featured in Essence, Penthouse and Complex among others.  And to extend his personal brand even further, Anslem broke into online radio with the Naked Radio Show, where he and his co-host Amy “Aimstar” Andrieux have frank discussions on sex, relationships and current events. Tune in every Tuesday night from 10pm-12am EST on

Great post, Jai. I think Anslem may be one of the guys in the ‘barbershop’ on Tell Me More. I’ve enjoyed his commentary there. Headed over to Naked with Socks now!
