Lightning Strikes Twice For Jai Stone with Essence.com

2-lightning

For the 2nd time this week socialpreneur Jai Stone had a post picked up by Essence.com. The brand came calling for content from Stone once they caught wind of her magazine dedicated solely to Black love. A spin off of her popular relationship website BlackLoveForum.com, Black Love Mag is a quarterly publication that has changed the landscape of the relationship arena.

HOW DID IT HAPPEN?

Immediately after the launch of BL Mag, Jai Stone was contacted by the Relationship Editor of Essence/ Essence.com with much interest in what prompted Stone to take her website to print. A conversation ensued and Essence decided that the world needed to hear her story. The Black Love Crisis: Why We Need to Do More Than Just Talk, was published on Thursday, June 26th.

A few short days after seeing another post by Stone, the Editors of Essence reached out again, this time it was the Get Lifted editor. Get Lifted is the Sunday edition on Essence.com that focuses on inspiration and spirituality. Team Essence decided that this second post by Stone was worthy of the HOMEPAGE! Stop Nursing the Pain: Moving Past Infidelity, Abuse and Emotional Suffering was published on Sunday, July 29th.

For anyone that thinks lightning does not strike twice, they better check with Jai Stone who might disagree this week.

“I have been reading Essence since I was a kid, it’s one of the most respected brands on the planet, even being mentioned by their publication is an honor. I NEVER dreamed they would have an interest in what I have to say, let alone be so generous in sharing my words with with their audience. I suppose this is a sign, that my voice should be heard, now the question is… Am I ready to speak?”

Jai Stone supporters know that she is both humble and generous, we have seen her work tirelessly to make an impact for years, so the question we have is “WHEN will she be ready to speak?”
