Emotional NuditySista Speak

Sis 2 Sis: 8 Reasons Why I’m NOT A Hater

First let me offer a warning to my regular readers.  This post is a bit more raw than what I normally write.  I suppose I channeled my alter ego J.Steezy for this post.  I just couldn’t seem to express this in a politically correct way, so I’m getting straight to the grit!!

On the most recent episode of Basketball Wives (that would be Episode 2), the new chick #1 KENYA BELL  (the scatter brained wanna be) accused new chick #2 KESHA NICHOLS (the jilted southern belle) of being ‘A HATER’.  All of this because Kesha had expressed she didn’t have much confidence in the quality Kenya’s music video project. I’m sorry to say it, but Kesha was right!  Nothing about Kenya’s presentation to date seemed to put her on the road to stardom.  You know I almost lost my damn cookies on that one!  How the hell does being honest translate to hating???

First let me say yeah, yeah, yeah I know SOME hating really does exist.  But not NEARLY as much as folks THINK that it does.  My experience with sistas has been far more positive than negative, I would say about 75% more positive.  So when I hear sistas so willing to slap the label ‘hater’ on one another, my hair stands up on end.  Consider this, if you have a problem getting along with other black women….err maybe the problem is you!!  Ok, scratch that…DEFINITELY the problem is you!!!

The STONE-COLD TRUTH is that real haters rarely make themselves seen.  They usually lurk about quietly in the shade pretending to be your friend.  When the time is right, they make a move hoping to get some a few specs of your glory.   They really really DON’T like you, but they secretly want to BE like you.  I have labeled these fools HATER CLONES.

That being said, just so there is NO mistake about it, let me tell you why I’m sooo NOT a hater!!
